Product Spotlight: Andy’s Anointing Oil
Andy’s Anointing Oil is one of the first products made by The Hope Grows Foundation. When we began Hope Grows in 2014, this is the topical oil that was used by our founder to help him deal with the pain of a catastrophic back injury. Since then, Anointing Oil has helped countless others with various issues- the list is quite long!
This recipe is no secret- it has been around for thousands of years. Just look in the book of Exodus 30:23-25. We have re-created this biblical recipe with more modern extraction methods, using the same ingredients that the ancients used. The ingredients of Andy’s Anointing Oil have been used for millennia for healing: myrrh, cinnamon, and cannabis all have long histories of traditional, medicinal herbs.
Myrrh, for instance, is an anti-spasmodic and an antimicrobial. This gum has traditionally been used for muscle spasms, oral health, wound care, and more. Cinnamon is an anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory. Traditionally, cinnamon has been used to promote blood flow and can reduce blood sugar. Cannabis is a powerful healing herb and has been found in ancient burial sites. It has been used traditionally for a multitude of issues. (For more information, please see our “Education” tab to read more about the healing powers of our herbal ingredients. )
Andy’s Anointing Oil is much more than a pain-relieving topical oil. Just ask anyone who has used it. We cannot make claims, but our customers will rave about what it does for them!

Interactive Cannabis College Opens in Central Florida
A hands-on cannabis college focused on industry education, training, career placement, medical cannabis and more has expanded to central Florida.
Learn Sativa University’s (SATU) hands-on program has been in operation for roughly four years. The university started in a 1,000-square-foot building, but has recently expanded to a 5-acre cannabis farm and training facility in Apopka, Fla., said Patrick O’Brien, SATU founder and CEO.
The primary purpose of the college is pretty “straightforward,” O’Brien said.
“We aim towards two paths, and we’re looking for two types of individuals: either ones looking to land rewarding careers in the industry, or individuals looking to start businesses. Whether it be in cultivation, dispensary, or anything along those lines, we can assist with business plans, curriculum and everything from top to bottom,” he said.
